About Calstar Cellars
I seek to make wines that are food friendly, and can be enjoyed on their own. In my opinion winemaking is a partnership between the grower(s) and the winemaker. I do my best to select good vineyards to source from, pick at the right time, and nuture the wine(s) to be expressive of the site the fruit comes from. In addition to the 6 Pinot Noirs, I make Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, both a Rose´and a still red Pinot Meunier, and Zinfandel. Currently all the bottlings are under 200 cases each.
