About Mercury Winery - Lake Sonoma
Founded in 2009, Mercury Wine is the brainchild of Brad Beard. Brad’s winemaking philosophy is to bring the style, subtlety, and elegance of European wines and blend that with the world’s best grapes here in Northern California. Occasionally, he shreds all the rules to put his personal and unique touch on his unruly American winemaking—no rules, just right!
Brad lives in Geyserville with his husband Danny. Mercury specializes in Bordeaux, Rioja, and Rhône-style blends, as well as esoteric white wines. Brad focuses on grapes grown in the Alexander Valley and occasionally sources grapes from other interesting vineyards, locally and elsewhere in California.
