About Muscardini Cellars
We invite you to visit our tasting room nestled inside a historic 19th century schoolhouse, where you can experience traditional Italian-style winemaking at its finest, right in the heart of Sonoma Valley. Enjoy flights or wine by the glass and charcuterie featuring our locally produced, wine-infused salume, or even bring your own picnic and taste on our patio or lush backyard. For a more intimate experience, we offer private food and wine pairings that feature our most exclusive wines in our reserve room.
With a focus on tradition and family, relationships are at the heart of Muscardini Cellars, and at that heart’s core are the relationships that proprietor, Michael Muscardini has cultivated in the vineyards with the growers he receives phenomenal fruit from every year. Michael Muscardini’s passion for Old World varietals extends beyond crafting exceptional Sangiovese, Barbera, and Super Tuscan-style blends, Muscardini Cellars wine conjures up a la dolce vita celebration which reflects Michael’s indefatigable tasting and lifestyle research on his sojourns to Italy.
Our “Tesoro” Red Blend continues an important legacy for Muscardini, whose grandfather made wine in Italy before emigrating to America in 1909. Over twenty years ago, Michael Muscardini first blended Sangiovese, Syrah, and Cabernet grapes to create this signature blend, an homage to his grandfather and his Italian heritage. Muscardini’s Tesoro swiftly became the winery’s flagship label, with numerous vintages receiving 90+ point ratings and “Best of Class” awards at various competitions.
We also produce Italian-inspired aperitivo and digestivo products as well, including a sweet vermouth and two types of grappa.
Also available: locally produced olive oil, salumi, chocolate, and toffee.
