About Vaughn Duffy Wines
Vaughn Duffy started in 2009 when husband and wife duo Matt Duffy and Sara Vaughn purchased one ton of Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir. Over a decade later, Vaughn Duffy produces small lots of acclaimed vineyard-designate and appellation Pinot Noirs from Sonoma County.
Winemaker Matt Duffy joins forces with some of Sonoma’s best growers to craft Pinot Noir in small batches. This approach ensures top-notch quality and meticulous attention to detail.
In 2023, Vaughn Duffy gained significant recognition when their 2021 Bacigalupi Vineyards Pinot Noir won the title of “Best of the Best” at the North Coast Wine Challenge. This prestigious award signifies that their wine outperformed nearly 1,200 other wines in the competition, establishing Vaughn Duffy as a notable and respected producer of Pinot Noir in Sonoma County.
